The nettle-paper sting
Give sharp consequence to behavior that continues after a clear warning.
What you’ll need
- A sealed nettle tea bag
- Paper and pencil
- A small envelope
The ritual
- Write the repeated offense on the paper and underline the boundary that was ignored.
- Fold the sealed tea bag inside the paper without opening it.
- Press the parcel once and say, “Meet the edge you crossed.”
- Seal it in the envelope and keep it until you have enforced the boundary, then discard it unopened.
