The winter-water stilling
Cool a heated campaign against you until its force becomes motionless.
What you’ll need
- A glass bowl
- Cold water
- Three ice cubes
- Paper and pencil
The ritual
- Write the campaign or conflict on the paper and place it beneath the bowl.
- Fill the bowl with cold water and add the ice cubes one at a time.
- Name “words,” “actions,” and “reach” as each cube enters the water.
- Leave the bowl until the ice melts, then pour out the water and move the paper into your records for calm action.
