The rain-blurred path
Blur the route by which an old disturbance repeatedly finds its way back.
What you’ll need
- Water-soluble pencil
- Uncoated paper
- Rainwater
- A tray
The ritual
- Draw the disturbance’s route toward you on the paper.
- Place the paper in the tray and pour rainwater over the route from your end outward.
- Watch the line blur until it can no longer be followed.
- Let the paper dry, tear away your end of the path, and recycle the rest.
