Remove the trace of someone who repeatedly brings disorder across your threshold.
What you’ll need
- A little clean soil
- Water
- A washable tray
- A cloth
The ritual
- Mix the soil and water in the tray until it holds the impression of one fingertip.
- Press a row of marks leading away from you while naming what must leave.
- Wipe the marks away in the same outward direction with the cloth.
- Rinse the tray and cloth outside the room, then clean the threshold as the final dismissal.
