What you’ll need
- A pair of closed scissors
- A ribbon
- A paper label
The ritual
- Write the protected matter on the label.
- Wrap the closed scissor handles with ribbon so the blades remain shut.
- Place the label beneath them and say, “No cut enters here.”
- Store the scissors safely out of reach and untie them only when the risk has ended.
