The black thread return
Turn persistent ill will back toward its source without naming or harming the person behind it.
What you’ll need
- Black cotton thread
- A smooth stone
- A small envelope
The ritual
- Wind the thread around the stone while naming the conduct you refuse to carry.
- Tie three knots, saying “This is not mine” with each one.
- Place the bound stone in the envelope and write “Return to its proper place” across the seal.
- Keep it outside your living space for seven days, then untie the thread and leave the clean stone outdoors.
