The black-salt boundary
Mark a firm limit against hostility that keeps testing the same edge.
What you’ll need
- Coarse salt
- A pinch of clean fireplace ash or ground charcoal
- A small bowl
- A spoon
The ritual
- Mix the salt and ash in the bowl while naming the boundary being tested.
- Use the spoon to make a small ring in the bowl, keeping the mixture off skin and fabrics.
- Place a written boundary at the center and leave it overnight.
- Dispose of the mixture in an outdoor bin and put the written boundary where you will act on it.
